Parker Association Laundry Unit Deploys to Sonora
The Parker Baptist Association’s Disaster Relief team has deployed its Laundry Unit to Sonora, TX in response to flooding in the area. Frances and Mark Randall set up the unit on Saturday, September 29 at the Civic Center to serve members of the community whose homes have been flooded, taking in laundry loads from families working to put their lives back in order.
Volunteers have been scheduled to serve the Sonora community through November 10. They are being housed and fed at FBC, Sonora where other volunteers are based doing mud-out of flooded homes. Pray for the safety of our volunteers as they travel back and forth to Sonora. Also, pray for their gospel witness as they demonstrate Jesus’ love and make Kingdom imprints in the Sonora Community.
